Open editorial board
engagée implements a conscious break with those traditional forms of hierarchical organization that are common in usual publication projects. At engagée, everybody who submits a contribution in response to the call becomes a member of the open editorial board for that issue [provided that the contribution meets the magazine’s latest guidelines, namely, that the contribution negotiates and critically fosters emancipatory perspectives].
The editorial board members accompany the editorial work process of at least one text contribution and proactively discuss the topic of the next issue. In case contributions exceed engagée’s 100-page format, a decision on the selection will be reached collectively
